One photo of the handwritten scoresheet. Back comes the game as PGN, legal from the first move to the last. Everything in between is on us.

The site is in your language; your scoresheet can be in any.

One move, many notations, a single PGN

Writing down moves in your own language is legitimate and 7 out of 10 players do it. You write as you always do; the result is always a standard English PGN.

In a local tournament round, scoresheets are written in five different ways and all end up in the same format.

Three steps. Only the first one is yours.

No settings, no modes, no options. One action, and we take care of the rest.

  1. 01

    You take the photo

The scoresheet flat on the table, in ordinary light, whole inside the frame. That is all.

  2. 02

    We take care of it

You can close the app. We let you know when the game is ready.

  3. 03

    You get your game

As standard PGN, ready to open in Lichess, ChessBase or whichever viewer you use.

Questions

When will it be available?

Soon. When there is a date, it shows up here first. We do not announce what is not ready.

Which devices will it work on?

Android, iPhone and iPad, Windows, Mac and Linux. One account: the game you digitize on your phone is waiting on your computer.

What do I need to use it?

A phone with a camera and an internet connection. It does not matter how powerful it is.

What if my handwriting is a mess?

A hard-to-read move that allows only one legal move resolves itself. When even that is not enough, the move stays flagged for you to confirm. A game is never completed by guessing.

What format do I get the game in?

Standard PGN, the same one Lichess, ChessBase, Chess.com and any viewer can open. No proprietary formats.

Do I have to write down moves in English?

No. Write as you always do; the PGN comes out the same.

What if everyone in my club writes differently?

No problem. Five scoresheets written in five different ways end up in the same format.

What happens to my photos?

They stay in your account, together with your games. They are never sold or shared with anyone, and you can delete them whenever you like.
